AROBS Transylvania is a well-established and trusted custom software development company, providing exceptional services since 1998 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. They place a high value on healthy living, sports, and giving back to the community. As a token of their appreciation and commitment, they sponsored the city’s International Marathon, which is a significant annual event. They not only contributed financially, but they went the extra mile by launching a charity campaign known as ‘Be Great!’ to make the marathon even more interactive.

The “Be Great!” marketing campaign was an innovative approach that helped participants engage with the marathon and make it a memorable experience.

STRATEGY

One of the most exciting features of the campaign was the platform that gave participants the chance to win extraordinary prizes. The process required users to create and upload a video recounting their personal story of how sports had impacted their lives.

The campaign kicked-off with a range of well-known athletes and influencers who shared their inspiring stories, which created huge exposure for the campaign. Their stories were amplified through digital media, which helped in bringing more attention to the “Be Great!” movement.

“Be Great!” was also impactful in helping to raise money for a charity association serving people with special needs. This made it a favorite among socially responsible customers, who appreciated the brand’s commitment to more than just profits. Overall, the “Be Great!” campaign left a lasting impression on participants and donors alike.

CREATIVE

The creative part of this project started from its bold name and slogan. So I designed the logo to be bold and powerful. But I knew that a great logo alone wasn’t enough, we also needed captivating images and graphics to attract people’s attention and draw them in. That’s I’ve we decided to incorporate pictures from past marathons as it would create an emotional connection to our campaign. I was selective in my choice of colors, picking shades that were not only vibrant and fun but also complemented our typography and pictures.

PRINT

The bright splashes where definetely an eye catcher for the banners on day of the event. The client loved the idea so much that decided to have them also on the campaign’s official t-shirt.
